There was a time when I thought looking healthy on the outside was all that mattered. I seriously underestimated the importance of improving what was going on in the inside and it soon caught up with me. Improving your health is not about simply jumping on the latest diet and exercise trends, yes, moving more and nourishing your body is absolutely a huge step in the right direction but when it comes to overall health and taking genuine care of yourself it’s about improving all aspects of health... mental and emotional health as well as the physical body, and they are all interlinked! This year I’ve been on my own little journey after struggling a lot with my mental health for a long time. My internal dialogue was making me ill but I’m weirdly grateful because it forced me on that new journey to re-discovering what health means 🤗 While a lot of it seems like I’m starting again and unlearning what I once thought to be helpful, it’s exciting coz it feels like I’m on the right path 💕 My journey into a more holistic approach has taken me down so many new paths when it comes to the way I view exercise, the food I put in my body, the way I handle stress, shift my mindset, and challenge my internal dialogue and god there have been a lot of uncomfortable phases, but as it says in the video you have to look at the opportunity and imagine all the amazing things that can come from really scary changes 💕 —— As you can see, I’ve been trying out the latest @puresport mushroom range and it feels amazing to finally be working with a brand that feels fully aligned to my message and supports long term health from within ☺️ I’ve been taking the Lion’s mane and Reishi mushroom products... trying to give my brain a bit of TLC!
