It can often present as leg pain, numbness, tingling and possible weakness that starts in your lower back and radiates down your leg. The pain can be occasional or constant in one side of your buttocks or leg. Symptoms are often worse with sitting, forward bending, going up stairs, walking or running. A few tips for relief: 1. Create space - Press your hands into your thighs right below the hips and drop your butt back. 2. Get your lower back unstuck - Press your thumb into the side of your back, moving up and down your back. 3. Traction the nerve - Hold a yoga strap or leash with your hands and put your toes into it. Move the strap so that you are moving your leg in a C shape. Many women think aches and pains are just part of the pregnancy journey.
