Desireé is an amazing full time mom and part time artist based in Virginia. We are so honored that Desireé wanted to give us a peek inside her creative world and space, so without wasting any more time, here is a bit from @thepamperedpossum_art herself!! 🤍 “I’m a full time Mom and a part time artist, living in Lynchburg, Virginia. I paint almost every day, and I am passionate about painting the sea, whales, as well as many other subjects. My most recent project is a series on Saints and the symbols that the church and artists used to identify them. I have just had my first solo exhibition July through August of this year held at Goose Creek Studio & Gallery in Bedford, VA. I was able to paint so many wonderful things for this series and I’ve loved getting to depict so many different textures, and bringing archaic tales to life. The current series I’m working on is called “A Spirit of Inquiry- The Darwin Collection” centering around Charles Darwin’s voyage to the Galapagos Islands and the animals and birds he saw and studied there.
