Roger Michell It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our friend Roger Michell. Roger was not only a trailblazer with a unique gift for examining the condition of human life, but he was also the kindest of souls. His films were so incredibly versatile in the way they could make you laugh, make you cry, make you tense, and make you think. We had the honor of premiering his film BLACKBIRD at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2019 – an outstanding film and a memory we will always cherish. We send our deepest condolences to Roger’s friends and family.
