Alex Cameron’s Biography @alkcm Polyhedric and honest, the singer songwriter from Australia presents himself as an interpreter of human virtues and vices. Born in the beach town of Bondi, in the east suburb of Sidney, Alex Cameron started playing gigs in some pubs of the city and, after getting comfortable enough to perform, he partnered up with his all time friend and saxophonist Roy Molloy creating a duo. After releasing his solo debut album on the internet “Jumping The Shark”, Alex caught the attention of different music personalities like the indie rock duo Foxygen and then started touring with notorious artists such as Mac DeMarco. In 2016 the singer signed with the record label Secretly Canadian and from then he dropped three albums. Alex’s music was certainly shaped by highway rock and roll, country and pop music from the 90’s, in addition of some electronic and synthesizer’s traces picked from his personal interests. The singer vivid lyrics are solicited by his great demand in sincerity of the words. As he’s talking about love songs, the singer doesn’t want to lie, exaggerate and make it up.
