Thank you to everyone who supported me while I trained and finished the 2021 Los Angeles Marathon. I learned some humbling things about myself yesterday. The first 20 miles were great. I felt strong and capable. The last 6 miles pushed me to limits I didn't even know existed. But all I had to do was finish. Mission Accomplished. Thank you to everyone that cheered us on. For those of you that were there, I knew if I could make it to mile 17 to see your faces, it would be downhill from there. Congratulations @4xfourcrew for finishing! Training with you all was the best part of my marathon experience. I’m forever grateful to @theheartofgolden for creating a space that kept me accountable and engaged. @courtneydmays, thank you for cycling alongside me for all my 6a runs. You encouraged me when I wanted to quit. Thank you for loving me unconditionally through all my “great ideas,” like running the LA marathon. I love you. @d_jones62, Mom, you've shown up for me in times I didn't know how to show up for myself. Thank you for loving me and accepting me for me. And expanding our family to include all the “life friends” I’ve gained along the way. ALL MY FRIENDS: “I was just talking to moms, and...” You’re an incredible human. I love you.
