In 1988 at the Westway Diner on 9th Ave, Larry David and I hatched an idea for a show about a comedian but with no story. Ted Sarandos was 24 years old working as a sales manager for a Blockbuster distributor in Phoenix. In a month, all nine seasons and 180 episodes will be streaming on Netflix for its 200 million global subscribers. It took a while, but this was our whole plan from the beginning. @netflixisajoke
