Saturday still feels like a dream. My best friend, the man of my prayers & intentions, asked me to be his wife surrounded by people we love. I can’t explain how overjoyed & blessed I am. Our journey together over the last 4 years is one that could have only been orchestrated by God. The honesty, the accountability, the growth, the selflessness, the cultivation, the resilience — all of it — was fueled by our faith & foundation in Christ. I used to believe in fairytales until I learned that love isn’t so much about finding your “person” as it is about finding God, yourself, and the strength to walk in obedience — even when it doesn’t make sense.
