an incomplete round up of the best things i ate and drank in france and spain over the last two weeks: 1. grilled prawns covered in sea salt flakes at @lluritu in barcelona 2. a perfect salty anchovy at gandarias jatetxea in san sebastián (a highlight from @annasilman ‘s excellent list) 3. piping hot battered prawns at paco bueno in san sebastián 4. a flaky pain au raisin in vic fezensac, france 5. saucy mussels at cervecerías la mejillonera in san sebastián 6. chorizo stewed in cider at @koskataverna in barcelona 7. freshly caught clams back at gandarias jatetxea 8. the most diligently shucked oyster at @andybcampbell and @misstessowen ‘s wedding 9. an ice cold beer after walking 10 miles in barcelona 10. the tuna at @lluritu because that meal warrants multiple slides (ty @farida_f for the fabulous rec) *not pictured: the razor clams at @fismuler as recommended by @cwhalen @bannarama & @emmaladyrose which i forgot to photograph after too many martinis
