SALING - (Part 3) ⛵️ . Determined Dan was the last one to head out, after thoroughly planning his route with some wiggle room for unexpected circumstances. . He used the winds as much as he could, harnessing them to his favor with the rudder and always keeping an eye on his goal. . On the last part of the journey, Dan noticed that the winds had gone down quite a bit. So he got out the oars and started to row. He only had to row a little bit, as he was very close to the island now. ******* Motivation is like the wind. You need to use it to get far, but you have to guide it with a rudder called “intention”. . Relying on willpower and hard work alone will only get us so far. If we ignore the winds of motivation we will end up exhausted and burned out. .
