De Bonne Facture présente une édition spéciale sur le thème Les "Indiennes" en Provence, un art artisanal originaire de l'Inde qui a été industrialisé et importé en France à partir du XVIème siècle, devenant par la suite emblématique de la région provençale. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Afin de rendre hommage aux origines artisanales de ces motifs, nous avons collaboré avec un atelier familial en Inde qui perpétue le métier ancestral de l'impression au bloc de bois depuis des générations. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Les motifs de certaines pièces ont été imprimés à la main en utilisant une ancienne technique indienne d'impression sur bloc de bois avec une teinture naturelle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ --- ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ De Bonne Facture introduces a special edition along the theme of Provence "Indiennes" prints, a type of print originating from Indian craftsmanship that was industrialized and imported in France starting from the XVIth century, becoming emblematic of the Provence region. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To pay a tribute to the artisanal origins of these patterns, we have collaborated with a family-owned atelier in India who has continued the ancestral craft of block printing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The designs on some of the pieces have been stamped by hand using an ancient Indian block printing technique with natural dye. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #debonnefacture @rylandlife @nomanwalksalone #lesindiennesenprovence
