This is my brilliant dad Petro (in 2nd photo he is 18 with my brother Sasha). The video shows what they have been doing with my cousin Vadym in the past three months. ⁣ ⁣ Mum and dad were at home in Kakhovka, Kherson oblast, when the invasion happpened. ⁣ ⁣ For the first two months my parents courageously went out to protest, but then they received a menacing phone call from local collaborators and I freaked out and convinced them to leave.⁣ ⁣ They first went to Italy, and then to stay with my cousins in Berlin. In September dad said that he was deep in depression and that he couldn’t stay in Germany any longer. He needed to be in Ukraine and had the urge to actively volunteer. So he, alone, drove back to Ukraine, to stay with his sister and nephew in his native Mykolayiv region (just above Khreson region). ⁣ ⁣ Without any help from me, he immediately raised money and bought a van. He also registered as a charitable foundation. @shlyah_vidbudovy He has already been to the front line in Kherson with a van full of food and humanitarian aid, but he understood that something else was desperately needed.⁣ ⁣ My dad is an engineer, his plant in Kakhovka made farming equipment. So when he saw the technician teams on the front line and the lack of tools and equipment and heat that they have, he understood it was his mission to help them out. So he is now raising money to buy tools and generators for the combat engineers on the front line in Kherson. ⁣ ⁣ If you can - please donate.
