One thing I don’t take for granted in adulthood (especially in my 30s!) is how wonderful it is to make new friends. Without a school or college throwing you together by chance, it can be hard to find your people. I’ve moved so much in my life and I’m grateful for all the friends I’ve made along the way- but oh man is there something special about making new friends in your 30s. Maybe it’s because it’s so rare! I met @samanthavarvel a couple of years ago and we hit it off immediately. We met up in the city a few weeks later (and just days after I had given birth!) and I watched in awe as she mothered her own children- she gave me the confidence to get out into the world with a baby, including breastfeeding in public for the first time 😅 I have watched her bravely dive into a career change. She captures life so beautifully and inspires me daily 🤍
