In November we commemorate Native American heritage, highlighting the vital role of Native Americans and their invaluable contribution to society. The Lassen area has been an important meeting point for at least four Native American groups: Atsugewi, Yana, Yahi, and Maidu. This November carries special significance as the National Park Service finds itself under the leadership of Charles F.
