Pictured above: The beach 5 minutes from my house overlooking the Malibu mountains. Not pictured above: my trip back home to Budapest. But you may have caught some glimpses in my stories of it. This journey home has been the most refreshing one yet. It was lovely to see friends thriving, family doing well and the country being so developed. I’ve spent the past two weeks redirecting my focus from all the bad that’s going on in the world (war, pandemic, political and climate crisis) to all the positive (the gorgeous landscapes and architecture of Hungary, healthy people, electric cars everywhere, art & culture, and aaaall delicious food). While I realize it’s a privilege to take a break from the weight of the world, I also believe that what you focus on expands. My visit was everything my soul was craving and I’m back, feeling happier than ever. After seeing how far I’ve come, I’m more grateful than ever for both of my worlds. My home, family and friends in North America and my beautiful roots in Europe. Can’t wait to share some great work I’ve been holding onto and deep dive into all the projects to come this spring/summer. x B #35mm #thisiswater
