As the islands across the Caribbean moved towards strict quarantine and very major event was canceled, the decision to return the #Gunboat 62 “Mach Schnell” back to the US was made. We threw the throttle down and sent the boat as hard as we were safely able. Reaching in 18-25 kts we did 1300+ miles in just over 3 days, multiple 4 hour watches with 19-20kt average speeds and 30+ kt top speeds. We were able to push this incredible boat hard as we were due to the skill and experience of the sailors on board.
