In this studio visit, Nicole Wittenberg discusses her work and her process. Several of @nwitts’ landscapes were included in our “Unnatural Nature” group exhibition this spring, and we are delighted to announce that we will present a solo show of Nicole’s new paintings in our Palm Beach gallery this December. “It’s the color that really conveys and carries the feeling. The color tells you about light, the color tells you about the physicality of what you’re looking at. Translating that into a painting, getting that kind of intensity of color that I was getting in drawing, became a really difficult and wild activity.
