We created technical drawings and engineered these swivelling rock chairs, for Sabine Marcelis, from almost complete slabs of rock. They needed to be hard-wearing, solid and as they’re a slab it makes them as sustainable as possible. We cut them according to the beauty of the veins on the materials, and all designed for outside, urban, use. You can see them now at St Giles Square, London.
