🌝 🛁 Have you ever tried to look for the meaning of your given name ? Once I was given an assignment in high school to write about my given name. I started by looking through the dictionary to find out more. It is quite common in our culture to share a word in our names in the family from one generation to the other. Our shared word is 逸(Yat) among my cousins and siblings. 逸(Yat) has multiple meanings, it could mean to break loose, recluse, leisurely , outstanding... The one I was most drawn to was “flowing” 飄逸. The feeling of drifting, floating and flowing. When do you feel you’re in a flow? Is it when you’re cooking, running, swimming, dancing, sewing...Or simply being and breathing ~ “Yat” is the feeling I hope you feel when wearing the underwear or clothing.
