When Audrey and her daughter Truth arrived at our sanctuary at the beginning of the year, they were on high alert. Before their rescue, Audrey was kept eternally pregnant and her babies were sent to sl@ught3r each year—so it's no wonder she was nervous. But with Truth by her side, this young pregnant mom was able to learn to trust and take cookies from our hands, all while preparing for the birth of her son. Unlike his mom and older sister, Love will only know a life of open fields, fresh hay, bedtime cookies, enrichment, and affection from us all. But first, some R&R with mom. Audrey wanted privacy for the birth, so we're giving her all the space she needs.
