DON’T make this mistake when visiting the Eiffel Tower in Paris... 😬 📌 SAVE these tips for your next trip to Paris! As a frequent traveler, I always research the best time to see the iconic sights. For the Eiffel Tower, it's all about catching the ✨sparkle✨! I learned this the hard way... I arrived late one night, expecting to see the lights shining brightly, only to find it dark. 😞 Turns out, the sparkle has a schedule! Check out these tips for viewing the Eiffel Tower below 👇🏼👀 📷 There are a few amazing spots to view the tower and take the perfect pictures. Here’s where to go: Champ de Mars, 1 Av. de Camoens, Seine River Cruises, Metro Line 6 (between Bir-Hakeim and Passy stations), Pont de Bir-Hakeim, and L’Howea on 18th Av. Rapp. 💡 The Eiffel Tower's golden (non-sparkling) lights and beacon at the top come on at nightfall. ✨ The sparkling lights come on for 5 minutes at the top of each hour after nightfall. For example, if it gets dark at 6:15 PM, the sparkling lights will switch on for the first time from 7 PM until 7:05 pm. They will then sparkle from 8 pm to 8:05 pm, etc. ⭐️ Your last chance to see the sparkling lights every night is from 11 pm until 11:05 pm. 👋🏼 At 11:45 pm, the Eiffel Tower's golden (non-sparkling) lights and beacon are turned off. The lights used to stay on later. But the city of Paris adjusted the hours for energy saving purposes.
