New drop 🚨🚨 — “Return African Art” The inaccessibility of world-renowned African art to the majority of African people continues to cut generations off from mementos of history and symbols of ancestral pride. Art across the continent was taken in various looting ‘expeditions’ by colonialists who till today act as custodians of our culture. And much of the ongoing global debate on repatriation of African Art, leans towards loaning back artifacts which were not loaned in the first place. This tee represents our desire for African art to find a permanent place back home, so that subsequent generations can connect with artifacts which serve far more than aesthetic purposes.
