Hormonal acne anyone? ๐โโ๏ธ
@dermala just launched their new toner 'Do Your Tone Thing' and sent their DIM Skin Mix along with it to me! It's a set which caters to us who get breakouts from any hormonal imbalances. I'm still quite new to the brand but have been wanting to try something of theirs so they can help my skin chill out.
Here's some rapid reviews on each โจ

Review of Dermala DIM Skin Mix ๐๐ฟ
I've not been trying this for too long, BUT I did notice that my breakouts have been decreasing little by little! I'm not dealing with any huge or inflamed pimples at the moment, so I'm not sure if it's because of this or because my routine is good at the moment ๐ I'll have to update this in time, but so far it's been great!
Benefits
โข Supports hormonal balance by promoting healthy liver detoxification and estrogen metabolism in both men and women
โข Thought to prevent androgen binding to help relieve blemishes
โข Normally found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts.
Key ingredients ๐ฟ
DIM (Diindolylmethane), Black pepper fruit extract (BioPerineยฎ), Broccoli extract, Calcium D-Glucarate

Review of Dermala Do Your Tone Thing ๐ง๐ฑ
So this definitely does help with controlling any excess oil! However, my overall skin just couldn't agree with this toner, as I lean more towards being dry-sensitive. I could see myself using it as a spot treatment for blemishes but my cheeks are too dry for it I think. If you're an oily, acne-prone skin type however, you may enjoy this one more.
Key ingredients ๐ฟ
SE Microbiome Complex, Witch Hazel Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Gluconolactone, Kelp Extract, Olive Leaf Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Extract
