More of the decor 🌸🎪🌈 I based this on the colours of sunrise - like Aurora's name - from peach to cerise 🌅 I'm not going to deny it was a slog getting all of this ready with two children at our feet 🥱😂 We had to wait to do most when they were asleep ⏰ Then George and I were up till 1am the night before... I was arranging flowers by torch light while he took all of our ground floor toddler paraphernalia up to the top floor (every pretty party hides a room full of everyday mess ready to burst open the moment it's over!) 🚪 But it was worth it... 💃🏻🍾 We couldn't have done it without our family who took charge of lunch, each bringing a dish with them (swipe for menu!) 🥗 🎨Menus painted with bees and peonies by me. We wrapped cutlery in napkins, tied with bows and put it in a hamper, then everyone helped themselves. 🌸These were the biggest arrangements I've ever done. The conclusion: you need a lot more than you might think! Recipe was: grasses, green bells and mint for foliage. Ammi, astrantia and nigella for fillers. Delphiniums, spirea, campanula and stocks for height.
