As a welcome gift to the legendary @nilerodgers, I collaborated with the @unitedcenter to design these one-of-a-kind roller skates to give to the #Groovemaster himself before his set at the Duran Duran show August 20th! The skates featured: 🔵 All the dates that Nile Rodgers & CHIC have played at the United Center - including times with Earth, Wind & Fire and Cher. 🔵 CHIC in CHICago color details and disco-inspired designs. 🔵 The familiar W. Madison St. sign outside of our building. 🔵 A design created by a Chicago artist on ‘Chicago Skates’, which is the leading brand in the skating industry since 1905 where it was started in...Chicago of course!
