I Joined our family and friends for a #jdrfhq 5k to raise money with the mission of funding research for the treatment and, hopefully one day, cure for #TD1 (Type one diabetes). Family activities centered around exercise, health, and community are fun, but also important. Making health a family focus pays off in dividends later in life. Today I am feeling extremely #blessed to have a healthy, functioning body that allows me to workout and pursue my passions unimpeded by disease or disability. Working out isn’t a chore, it’s a blessing, and millions of people with health issues would give anything to be able to hit the gym, run a race, get out of bed without pain or just live daily life unencumbered.🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️
