I'm going to take a moment to brag about my relationship with @chris.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I brag that our relationship is trauma-informed and has been from the start. We are so deeply aware of our patterns, the root cause of them, and the ability to choose and claim differently so that we're not repeating the same patterns of our past. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I brag that our relationship has evolved into many different containers over the last four years. From having a relationship, we had to keep it from the entire world because I wasn't allowed to speak about my open marriage until we knew that this was something that was going to persist. Collectively, we felt it was best that the kids knew about me and their father's non-monogamy before telling the rest of the world.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I brag that we consciously and thoughtfully do our best to communicate from a lens of somatic experiencing and continue to sharpen our ways of understanding over the years. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I brag that we own a beautiful home together that we manifested into our lives so beautifully and that it fits the needs of our family and the chosen family and community we're creating. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I brag that we can be our whole ass selves -- the light, the shadows, the quirkiness in between and that at no point do we feel the need to perform just to please the other (unless it's part of role-play 😜)​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I brag about how we value and practice healthy interdependence. ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ I brag that he loves my ancient witchy-ass ways, and I love his high technological advanced mind.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​ I brag how we've stepped into this stage of adulthood and guardianship that continues to grow deeper and richer over time.​​​​​​​​ I brag that even though we didn't have "good" relationship models to look up to growing up, we became a relationship model that my kids get to look up to as they grow up.​​​​​​​​ I brag that we have more grey hairs and we’re sexier than ever. I brag that we often reflect back to one another how proud we are of our relationship and all we’ve been through. ​​​​​​​​ #consciouslyloving #consciousrelationships
