Reminder to the little teenage Melissa years ago who used to wonder if dance would ever happen for her because she was too short for the American Ballet Theatre .. YOU GOT THIS BABY BADDIE & I LOVE YOU 💋 @baddie.language I will never regret or forget where I came from ! I’ve been through so many ups and downs & I still continue to fight the fight even when I feel at my best ! I’ve learned life is a rollercoaster 🎢 & in order for you to grow or learn the universe throws these highs and lows at you so you can become wiser for whatever is ahead . I NEVER would have thought dance could be my job because simply I had so many people tell me it’s not a real job & here we are just all happened so quickly because I BELIEVED in myself and FOUGHT for myself ! I told myself to never give up , to not listen to rejection as a negative but to own it & conquer the next mission , to stay consistent no matter who is there for you or what is happening in your life & most importantly TO BE PASSIONATELY IN LOVE WITH WHAT YOU DO ❤️‍🔥 I have learned to stay resilient, to keep going , to make others smile because that’s what makes me happy ! ((and of course shaking my ass and eating pizza 😝)) When you find your mission or goal in life , GO FOR IT ! Listen to your gut and BE BOLD & DARING !
