I took this picture outside of my old apartment in New York last night. One of my favorite activities is walking through old stomping grounds. The environment feels the same, yet you feel so different. It triggers thoughts, emotions, and senses that transport you back to that old version of yourself. In 2019, I vividly remember walking down these streets at night. I did not know God well at the time, yet I asked him, rather begged him, to show me my life’s purpose. I was 6 months into a carnivore diet at the time and it had radically changed my life. My ulcerative colitis was finally entering remission due to me becoming the CEO of my health. I was obsessed. If anyone asked me about my diet or what I was doing, I would stop everything to help them. I jumped on phone calls, crafted customized diet plans, shared contacts, sifted through research. I just wanted to help other people get healthier. It didn’t matter who asked or how busy I was, I loved it so much. 6 years later, I realize that God answered my prayer and showed me exactly what I was supposed to be doing. Sometimes he plants your mission right under your nose. So close you can almost miss it. Being back in NYC for @sunlifeorganics’s grand opening reminded me how Good God is and how much your life can change with the right energy & intensity. I love what we are building at @noble.protein so much. I truly feel like the Lord is at the center of our business. If you find yourself in a similar position to me in 2019, this is my urge for you to answer the call. It will be the most challenging yet rewarding thing you’ve ever done. Excelsior.
