Last few days I thought about what it’s like to be perfect. Well in fact of course it’s not possible to be perfect for everyone let’s say it’s much more realistic to be imperfect. When war in Ukraine turned into full-scale invasion on Feb 24th it changed our lives upside down. But we didn’t loose our purpose, since than we are still fighting and trying to find beauty and joy in imperfection, thus means one can handle as much as needed to go through pain, separation and despair which is called war. Back in May we launched a fundraiser for Ukraine - Under The Open Sky. A dinner and exhibition aiming to provide support to people affected by war in Ukraine . Me and my partner @grabkoivan created around 140 artworks in one month while in Uzhgorod, that were later exhibited during Berlin Gallery weekend. Together we raised 70 358 EUR (2 568 067 UAH). Then the place of my childhood was bombed - our summer house near Odesa , the place where I was always running away to. Our close friend and neighbor Lusya luckily stayed alive . When it happened a month ago I thought that I want to keep this pain for myself, I don’t have words to describe it. However I want to show it now emphasizing how beautiful and ugly world can be in the same time because it’s imperfect and that’s why so inspiring for those who create. P.S. You can still buy artworks and posters to support our initiative , please visit our website for details . And for those who missed the exhibition 3-D scan of it along with audio guide that we recorded together with my best kuchen @jjakobmm is online. ❤️ We are really looking forward for the official release of short movie about this project shot by @pableneu 👀 Thanks to our wonderful team of friends who brought this all together : @vasilygrogol @k___________ss @nefeld_katerina @leilia_tuvakliieva @01df1wr5 @jjakobmm @henrihaake @max_von_gumppenberg @ngoro_ngoro @beanangelev @gogola.agency @united.for.ukraine And many more amazing people who helped us along the way .🫶🏻
