A big thank you to Ben Anderson (North to Nashville): "Just wanted to take a minute and give a MASSIVE shout out to @porter_and_davies (aka. the best in the biz) No one is doing what they are doing at their level, and if you only do ONE thing for your drumming life...this should be it. (They also make systems for other instruments!) I can't begin to explain how much of a game changer their systems are. I have 2 and am in the process of getting a 3rd! 🤪 I'll be honest, when I used a system for the first time, I was in my studio room. I will never forget it. I literally started tearing up with joy 🥲 because I thought "this is how drums are meant to be played" and I was kicking myself a little for going so long without this in my life!!! I was so blown away by how much more enjoyable and inspiring the instrument became when it allows you to truly feel the instrument in a way that you will never experience elsewhere. I proceeded to play for hours with this child-like giddiness that I hadn't experienced in years. Gone are the days of latency/quality issues from similar products as well as lugging around subs on stages in hopes of getting some kind of feedback from the what's going on while only adding to stage volume. I am now picking up not only my whole kit but also tactile feedback from every other instrument on stage. Thanks to P&D, I am truly IN the music in a way I had never experienced before. Just when you think it couldn't get any better....Tim and Dil are also the BEST guys and super helpful and kind.
