For the artwork for ‘Earache’ given the title I wanted to go a little gnarly with it. I initially explored the concept using AI (stable diffusion) to create the first few images (1+2) which I then took to 3D artist @kasaey_birds to elaborate on. Once we had the actual image (5) it became apparent it was probably a little too raw on its own so we added the text to obscure it whilst still retaining it’s unsettling aura.
