1AM snack - Earl Grey Crème Brûlée made with our Japanese Earl Grey Tea (let me know if you want the recipe). Our tea grown for us in the Shizuoka prefecture by the Kinezuka family. Toshiaki Kinezuka is a tenth generation tea farmer who refused the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers after witnessing the effects these chemicals had on local fish populations in nearby rivers. Instead, he sticks to traditional, organic farming methods that nourish the Earth, passing this wisdom on to his children and grandchildren. We add Bergamot oil from Italy’s Ionian coast. X Richard
