I’m so sad to have lost my dear friend Robbie Coltraine. He was one of the kindest and funniest people Iv ever known. He was the great Falstaff of our age. We shared a lot of interests including count Basie and cars. In 1985 he only agreed to be in my film Walking to New Orleans on the condition his Mk 2 Ford consul could also appear. I will miss him .
