Why sulfates in our clarifying shampoo? Let’s really get into it⬇️
1️⃣What are sulfates?
Sulfates are surfactants that have an oil-attracting and a water-attracting side, thus binding oils and greasy particles to water which makes it possible to rinse off excess sebum, oil buildup, and dirt from your hair.
2️⃣Why do we need sulfates in our clarifying shampoo?
Sulfate-free surfactant cleansers like Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate do the same thing but they do have less cleansing power.
This can cause extra build up on your scalp and in your hair, creating dull lifeless hair and even an irritated scalp from time to time. This means it is time for a clarifying shampoo.
3️⃣Why our clarifying shampoo?
Our clarifying shampoo blends gentle sulfates with other mild surfactants for a beautiful lather and highly effective cleansing and clarifying action.
The result is hair that feels more “squeaky clean” than what you are used to from sulfate-free shampoos.
4️⃣Why add a clarifying shampoo to your haircare routine?
Regular intermittent use of a clarifying shampoo will ensure your hair remains full of life, bounce & volume and other hair care products can work their very best – while the regular use of our sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner for your specific hair type will ensure smoothness, shine, frizz control, and color-protection every day.
