Thank you SIFF and Paris Women International Film Festival for acknowledging my short film. I wrote MIA as this fragile yet super strong woman that sometimes is too connected to the heart beat of the world and the people around her for her own good. MIA is investigative, smart and relentless but also capable of endless love. I hope the more I write about her that she’ll grow into something bigger than this short.
