Climb aboard the Ethan Allen Express! 🚂 If the Polar Express isn’t quite in your budget, or you’re looking for a train experience for the chop-choo fanatic in your life, consider making an experience out of the train that departs once daily from Burlington, VT. Vermont stops include Ferrisburgh-Vergennes, Middlebury, Rutland, and Castleton, VT before continuing on places like Saratoga Springs, Albany and finally NYC 🌆 Many thanks to the Amtrak conductor who welcomed our kids with a smile and gifts that included their own conductor hat, a train, and their own ticket with their first initial punched into it 🥰 It’s important to note that there’s no easy round trip experience here, so we had one adult stay back and meet us by car in Vergennes.
