I remember so clearly when I went to a friend’s house back in 2005. Her house was huge & super expensive. I thought to myself. I would never be able to afford a house like this! Thinking it would never be possible. I had to reset my life twice. First time in 2005, which I lost everything I had. Starting from scratch with $1700 dollars and a carry on luggage with clothes. And again 2021, but this time wasn’t as bad. Earlier this year I set a goal to buy a house next year. Giving myself 16 months to achieve the goal. But my kids and I needed to buy this year instead. So I did everything in my power to make it happen. Boy I went through so many obstacles. So many. But I did it!! 😭 All on my own. Love makes you do crazy impossible things and for my kids I would walk through fire for them. (Just not the ocean, I’m scared of fishes 🤣) I told a friend “I don’t know how I pulled it off” his response was “what do you mean how?? You f****n worked hard for it” and that’s exactly what I’ve done. Worked my as* off. I have to thank my dad for being such a hard worker himself. I know I def got that from him. And learning from my parents to understand to appreciate every little things because we know what’s it’s like to have almost nothing.
