I have great memories of making our first album with Dito in 91. We had just signed to Interscope and because we had a super tight recording budget, we booked overnight hours at a studio on the 2nd (or maybe 3rd) floor of a building on the corner of Hollywood and Vine. We would drive from OC to LA in the evenings, load our gear in a freight elevator in the alley and record our music all night, sometimes into the morning hours. They were exciting times. We were finally recording an album. Dito's task was to take the eclectic beast that was No Doubt and with very limited time and resources put us on tape. I remember him being patient and supportive and thoughtful. RIP Dito. Thanks for producing our first album. You will always be part of the No Doubt story.
