Almost every conference would have one or two Black or Brown faces and the rest would be overwhelmingly white. It is always my goal to center marginalized voices in everything I do. Which is why I'm so proud to present my most culturally responsive conference yet: Rona, Racism, Radical Parenting- The Remix. Even though it may not feel like it, we are still in a global pandemic. As a single mom of a 4 year old, I'm feeling the stress like never before. The uncertainty and fear that comes over me sometimes can be overwhelming. But if you know me, you know I'm a futuristic thinker. And I reimagine a future where harm reduction and liberated thinking are part of our family cultures.
