Chris Zhongtian Yuan (@chrissyuann) is one of the three artists being commissioned to create new digital artwork as part of the PATH-AI Residency Programme in Partnership with the Creative Computing Institute at UAL (@ual_cci) and the Alan Turing Institute (@theturinginst) ⁠ ⁠ Chris works with video, sound, poetry and performance to reimagine our relationships to land, body and language across time and space. Through effective and investigative ways of finding and making, their work builds worlds for new relations between individual and collective, self and the other, near and far, to emerge. During the residency, Chris will work on a new film commission. ⁠ ⁠ PATH-AI residency programme in partnership with The Alan Turing Institute and UAL Creative Computing Institute, commissions three artists to create new works critically engaging with intercultural ideas of privacy, agency, and trust in relation to artificial intelligence (AI) and other data-driven technologies. ⁠ ⁠ Link in bio for more information on Chris's practice.
