I am so proud of this journal. She isn’t perfect; it had an air bubble underneath the book cloth right in front, it started warping just a touch, the adhesive from the htv seeped out from underneath some of the leather (likely indicating that the heat press was too hot), and the end papers were too thin exposing the fabric I used to secure the book block, but I am so happy with it 😅 I so enjoyed the case binding process now that I’ve done it a few times. Coptic stitch is my bread and butter, but I am grateful for learning new techniques and improving my bookbinding skills.
