After 12 longggg months our nursing journey has come to a peaceful end. Thank you to everyone who offered advice as I weaned little E ~3 weeks ago. I was definitely not prepared for how insane the hormonal fluctuations would make me feel... it was on par if not worse than #postpartum *for me*. Overall, though, I am enjoying having slightly (lol) more bodily autonomy and am finally starting to feel/look a bit more like myself.
