Workshop: Concept to Exhibition PhotoAccess is delighted to announce the next instalment of its annual Concept to Exhibition series. This unique program is for any image makers who would like to work towards a body of work, further their professional practice, and have the chance to exhibit at an established ACT gallery – all the while supported by a mentor, peers, and PhotoAccess. This year, participants will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of PhotoAccess exhibiting artist, Sari Sutton @sari.sutton . Images from Sari’s PhotoAccess exhibition Avalanche received recognition in the 2021 Head On, Australian Life, Paris Photography Prize State of the World, and British Journal of Photography/1854 Media Edition365 awards. Sari is also an Australian Photography Awards portraiture finalist, an ANU Bundian Way Arts Exchange participant, and her work was included in the 2020 Loud and Luminous photobook Equality, featuring the work of 100 Australian women photographers. Sari is excited to be leading the next group in an 11-month program to formulate, develop, and execute a collaborative show in the PhotoAccess Huw Davies Gallery in late 2023. Participants will be mentored and supported to develop a conceptually-driven, cohesive body of work, reflective of their own personal interests, and to develop and strengthen their own artistic voice.
