“With any character, I love doing research and I relish getting to deep dive into their personality. For example, with Mae in my upcoming series Devil in Ohio, I got to research cults and watched movies that related to cults like Midsommar and Martha Marcy May Marlene. I researched anything I could draw upon to make the character more real.
