Since New York is now a place I visit versus call home, I made it a point to do a retail tour during my last trip. NYC fashion/lifestyle retail is special. You have to have an identity that immediately captures the attention of the most discerning consumer and give them reason to come back. @laams.nyc is undeniably one of the best at this. All the things that I love culturally, LAAMS embodies. I could spend an entire day on the second floor record store alone. The store is raw, it’s street, it embodies both streetwear and true school hip-hop culture and every product is carefully curated to represent these things.
