I adored @bethkirby and her style. We first met back before she was Local Milk, back before her style became iconic. We met over a cornbread story when she’d just started her blog. Her writing captivated me. The quote from her story (the first photo here) has captivated me since she wrote it and emailed it to me a decade ago. The words created a visual that instantly drew you in....just as her photography would later do. For years I idolized her style, her growth, her vision, and her commitment to creating the most beautiful, yet real work. I miss her posts and blogs, and the beauty that she created simply by existing. This week I’ve been going through our archives and I came across that January 2013 story.
