Where do I even begin? The first time I saw Dahli perform way back when I was a little drag tyke- it genuinely blew my mind. I vividly remember being so overwhelmed by their artistry, the detail in their craftsmanship, and their vision- they truly have an energy that fills the room thats just electric, or as the @bouletbrothers would say, magic. It’s been such an honor to watch this person grow and develop over the years we’ve been close. To inspire each other, to love together, to cry together. To have had the chance to share this platform together was a moment I really never thought possible, and I could not be more proud or more thankful. There’s a lot of drag families in the world. And if I can be so slightly critical- many of them are just a name. Just a clique and another example of human tribalism. And not to discount them because there’s value there, but I say this because when I think about our relationship, it TRULY feels like family. The hours spent supporting each other at our highest highs and lowest lows. The genuine love for each other.
