📎LET’S CHAT... 🩸p e r i o d s ➡️ On a recent poll on my stories 100s of you responded saying you felt down, off, bleugh a couple of days before your period. And so many of you said it was worse than when you were younger, or possibly since having kids. 💛 I asked the questions because for the last few months I’d been getting really low, complete existential angst, wanting to quit Mamawell, totally unconfident in lots of areas of my life, and just not loving it. Then through tracking 📈 my cycle I realised it was definitely 2 days before my period so I was really able to mentally prepare. ❓Do you track? Have you found regular mood/physical changes? 🙏🏻 I thankfully now know that it’s coming. I prepare. I’m kind to myself, make sure I have lots of positive self-talk, I ask for help, I make sure I prioritise easier and more fun tasks. I go for walks outdoors and gentler exercise. I make sure to have extra nourishing food and to avoid too much caffeine as I don’t want any jitters. It all helps. I’m also going to bow research any natural supplements that might support, esp now I’m done feeding. ⚡️I do feel this is worse as I’m getting older. I never had any symptoms much, just a bit of bloat and a few very random tears some months but nothing that lingered or affected me. I’m 40 in a few months, I’m sure this is linked. And maybe post babies? And also the hormones still settling post breastfeeding. 🎧 Anyway, I’m off to listen to @_maisiehill_ Period Power podcast and I’m going to get her book too. But I I’d love to know from you lovely lot: 🩸Have your period improved/got worse? 🩸Do you track? 🩸What symptoms do you have? 🩸 What works for you? Rosie xx #periods #letschat #periodpower
