March - the best and worst month of 2022 so far ⛈️☀️ Worst because our vet killed Taro 😭 (slide 8). Best because @weirdo.zine got included in the @creativedebuts x @adidaslondon exhibition thanks to @miamaxwelll @femzinelondon & did we did our first ever zine fair @grrrlzinefair 💖 I also put on my own event for WEIRDO which is something that terrified me so much, I turned to Britney while running errands the night before the event to help calm me down lool. Grateful to everyone who came along and to the panellists and to @ishanijasmin & @tabby_bat & @saintascia for all their support 🖤 WEIRDO has connected me with so many alternative South Asian people online based around the world who I probably would never have otherwise met. Being able to finally meet some of these people irl and put on an exhibition & panel discussion celebrating South Asian people in the alt scene was really special. Massive thanks to @museumofyouthculture for the opportunity and letting us use the space for free!! I started this zine to just find other people like me and with everything we've done so far I've realise just how important it is to other people that something like this exists. I'm also glad that it's not just me working on this project on my own anymore (when I say 'we' it really will mean we!) and I can't wait for what we do next!! I've also been writing songs again and can't wait to be ready for gigs with the new band.
